Christopher was previously a Senior Director at a leading family office in Germany, where he was commercially responsible for Data Center site origination, development and execution for the firm’s digital infrastructure fund. Prior to that, Christopher worked as Executive Project Manager to CEO at e-shelter (acquired by NTT Global Data Centers EMEA), a leading international Data Center operator, where he focused on site identification and development.

Christopher earned a bachelor‘s degree in economics from the Ludwig- Maximilians-University of Munich, a master’s degree in business admi ni str ati on f rom t he A ll iant University of San Diego (California) and a doctoral degree (PhD) from Johannes Gutenberg-University of Mainz in business administration.

Following the completion of his Civil Engineering studies in Aachen, Gian Marco garnered valuable experience at general contractors before spending nearly a decade at the real estate firm Drees & Sommer. As part of the partnership, he gained extensive management experience and was tasked with establishing and overseeing the Data Center business in Germany.
